My University Life

ok now my turn to give an account of my university life.. though my blog is only read by those few loyal readers, so more 贴切 to talk about fairies.. and will see repeating stuff on other fairies' blogs.. but must still talk about it de mah. but warning first ah, this is gonna be a long post. go grab ur popcorns and tissue paper (clean ur mouth lah, not tears) HAHA

my journey started in 2005. i was happy that i got into a uni, but was afraid i may not have any friends cos uni is so big. everyone works independently and all.. ya so when i knew there was an orientation camp, FWAH jitao fill in the form immediately and sent it out.. went for the camp and saw MANY girls..ok whole camp had only 5 guys. then my 1st thought: wah my hope of finding a guy in uni cui liao -_-

look at me! everyone wear sandals only i wear sports shoes...

yvonne kuan wasnt my 1st friend in the camp, but since we were in the same course, we met up on 1st day of sch. YES u were wearing ur red puma tshirt n jeans.. actually even before sch started, u called me and asked me wanna take HP101 or not. then i thot ok lor, cos i didnt wanna take modules alone.
then slowly me vone and pat made friends with pigu, and wanwei.. then lastly davina and limei.. till now i still dunno how it all started, how we could hit it off so well. SEVEN of us.. not easy one lor.

omg.. fairies 4 yrs ago!! i think i look the worst here. and i still thot i was damn chio last time. ridiculouswhen i first saw limei's photo..i was thinking who take edventure photo must go makeover de? so kua zhang leh. then i saw pigu. wah unapproachable.. pat ah, she looks sad.. like me. why so sad huh?

we are in the same course, take same modules, dav n limei same hall, me n pat live 4 busstops away.. 4 out of 7 from nyjc, the rest chapalang.. ok everyone looks prettier now (fyi, u can click on the photo to have a larger view of our pretty faces)PRETTIER RIGHT?
fate? similar interests? ok let's just say we have them all lah :) from picnics to theme parties to rollerblading to late nights HTHT to bday celebrations to lao yusheng to buffets to ktv to mahjong to drinking.. we have done it all. and most of the outings we get full attendance.. like i said to coordinate 7 girls is not easy..can u imagine our mass chat on msn, 你一句我一句 so busy lah..

i am really grateful for all the time i spent with fairies.. it was always filled with fun and laughter

it was uber fun with 6 of them lah.. ppl envy us, some think we are mad, but we are FAIRIES.. dramatically loud and hardworkingly fun fairies.

thank you yvonne, thank you davina, thank you limei, thank you qing ning, thank you pat, and lastly thank you wanwei.. u all have been very very very great friends. you all made my uni life extra special.. at least i know other ppl dont have. HAHA

and most imptly, yvonne kuan unleashed my hidden love for phototaking.. last time i seldom take pictures. but now? camwhoring all the time.. the only photos i took in sch before uni was for my year book, and during racial harmony day. what a loser.. total no. of photos taken in sec sch and jc less than one fairies outing

anyway thanks for everything you girls have given me for the past 4 years. be it good or bad, i cherish them all :)

FOC not only brought fairies together, it was also thru camp that i met him:

ALVIN NEO!!!before i knew him, i was kinda making fun of him behind his back.. when i see him in sch, i will point to the fairies and laugh: honalulu honalulu..

we chatted on msn, went out for dinner, watched movie, bring me go JB (tsktsk), hug me during HSS bash (tsktsktsk)..

想不到 we got together.. 报应啊! HAHA.. it's all fated i guess.. firstly we live near each other, ah ma live same block, bdays 1 day apart etc.. alot bah i guess. i think when we got together alot of our friends were stunned. like how come. why not man? i like my guy to be nice to me (check), humourous (check), filial (check), and lastly, loves me deep deep (check check check)..

we do have our unhappy times too. mostly cos i anyhow throw tantrums.. eh but u also got make me unhappy before ok. even liao ah.. but ok lah, always after one day then 雨过天晴. ok we *stamp heart* BFF ah. best future forever =) u better dont bully me huh, if not wing will come whacking you with her slippers, u already promised her on 29 April 2009 in zouk. i believe fairies wont let u off as well. but nah, i trust you and know that i can lean on your shoulders for the rest of my life. from now on, i shall be the only person u can date. alvin neo u bo bei zhao already lah. but u are very happy, very fortunate right? ya lah, see.. meant to be de mah. because i am also very happy very fortunate to have you and i dont want it to go away..

and not forgetting all my other friends i made in uni.. i can never name all here. u know who u are cos only if you are my friend then u would bother to read until here. and maybe some random readers who link from other fairies' blogs.. so i had a happening 4 years right? i also think so.

though i didnt get to experience hall life cos i dont like outside toilets (what the hell), but i had as much fun as limei and davina did.. school is fun when u have fun-loving friends. we are gonna graduate and soon parting ways, but i will always remember this part of my life. i have this blog and facebook to relive those days we had..

good luck to all fairies and friends in finding a good job, start their own families. and then meet up 10 years later (bring ur kids along) =)

ah my blog is 6 mths old!! haha still newbie leh.. and this blog was created cos vone keep asking me to blog. dont believe 请看my 1st post 0_0

and all my blog posts have been about everyone around me, but not me.. so today i shall dedicate this post to myself :)

i have lived for 23 years and i am loving evey bit of it. haha not because i am an optimistic person but rather i believe that no one is perfect. (excluding fictional characters like edward) i have many flaws, some visible, some not so visible.. but my imperfections are what make me ME!

i am short, so what? at least i can still buy mac's student meal w/o showing my pass, my head will not get hit by the handle bar on the bus, and i can wear heels and am still shorter than everyone else. HAHAHAHA ok at least still shorter than hanwen. so next time when i take wedding photos i am on same level with every other girl :)

i am impatient, so what? at least i get things done. though most of the time it's last min work, but still i get myself moving u know.

i am loud and noisy, so what? i love all the noise i am making. at least i am not dumb. since i have a mouth and i can talk, talk lah. it's like putting kfc fried chicken skin in front of me and i cant eat it, SAD.

hah so everyone should just embrace own imperfections.. some things we just couldnt change so from now on, we shall love ourselves a little bit more ok? just remember every single one of you is different, i bet u cant find another Sarah Ho around. and ppl remember me because i am the Short, Impatient & Loud girl.

anyway pat read the eclipse faster ah.. i am done with new moon. one word: NICE. though 3/4 of the story has no edward, but i still like it.. the way Stephenie Meyer writes is brilliant. i cant put the book down, i read even when i am at the pedestrain crossing.. MOUSEY faster ah, i wanna read the part limei say they both go into the room de. HAHA

i am finishing new moon soon.. next up is eclipse. mousey must read faster ah

i dunno why but he looks like Edward. whenever i watch american idol, i picture him as Edward, hahaha means he looks like a vampire

is chinese the trendy language now? even the french kid appearing on the recent advertisement is speaking better mandarin than i am lah.. 小白兔，白又白。。。if it's trendy then i must follow it.

今天我刚考完我的第三张纸，希望我不会考太差因为我没有写一个例子。

ok i give up. haha.. upon finishing my 2nd paper last thurs, i had a sudden urge to go sentosa, and of course i jio mouse lah, and off we went.. the sun was extremely kind to us, it was cloudless that day, BUT davina dont want us to stay longer. wei we wanna walk the tan roadline mah cannot meh.. so we left after just 2 hours of fun. then met limei and dav for lunch at marche. and limei brought 'new moon' and 'eclipse'!!!!! sidetrack abit, for ppl who doesnt know, new moon is the sequel to 'twilight', and i nv mentioned how nice twilight is.. and now i have new moon, i bring it wherever i go cos i just cant put the book down. i even think abt the story before i go to bed.. highly recommend to everybody :)

yeah anyway after lunch, was it limei or dav who suggested awfully chocolate ice cream, forgot le, but it was sinfully NICE!

limei, i have covered well right? poor dav gotta hold my stuff.. HAHA

oh i love the box they put the ice cream in. CUTE! and their single scoop is huge, so ya one scoop is enough to satisfy me.. 是开心的. i am a huge supporter of ice cream leh hanwen, so if u wanna cheer me up can buy me ice cream ah..

recently the weather is killing me.. it's so hot i think i am melting like the icebergs. so hot until i nv thot of bringing my cardigan to exam today. if there was something to cool me down. Edward?

ah pathetic.. I am blogging from my phone now cos my laptop is down. AGAIN!!! Dont buy fujitsu.. Really su ah. Haha.. Now cant play restaurant city on fb for e time being until i get my hands on hanwen's laptop, but he cfm wont lend me cos he will be glad that i finally have nothing to distract me from studying.. But i just have no motivation lah. This whole sem just zoomed by. Partly due to fyp, by e time we handed in it was already week 10. No time to do tut de lor.. Nvm bah, all will be over in like what, 2 wks.. My 17 yrs of education has finally come to an end.. Ah what a fruitful 17 yrs.. At least i enjoyed :)

thank the one who brought candy empire to s'pore.. they have amazing chocolates not found in ntuc or cold storage. i remember my 1st chocolate from there was given to me by wing. she gave me this super big size violet crumble. talking abt violet crumble, WHY HAS IT DISAPPEARED? it's the choco i ate since young. so sad.. like A&W, gone forever..

i miss my boyfriend... he is busy with projects and all. dunno when will be the next time i get to see him :(

haha last wk after my last uncle's lec at adm, foggy babby made this very amazing discovery.. she saw this lift

we were wondering how to bring it down. u see the black button beside the door handle? ya have to press and hold on until the lift comes to our level. ok so when it reached, we had to manually opened the door. and as expected, we had to operate the lift manually! there, same way as we brought the lift down, gotta hold on to the button and it will bring u to the level u want to. cool right? HAHA.. jitao environmentally friendly.

last sat i went woodlands library with the 3 kids.. WAH keegan was a monster man, seriously nv bring kids below 4 who has nv been to a library before to a library.. those who have been to woodlands branch should know there's this tree at the children's section, so once keegan stepped out of the lift, he was FREAKING excited. we had to chase him and calm him down until he found his new toy..

haha see how much fun he is having.. he sat there until the library closed lah -_- but it was fun though. there were other kids who were noisy too, so keegan wasnt the only one

i need a life man.. i feel like some 宅女, everyday playing games on fb. now i am hooked onto 'restaurant city', quite fun.. hire ppl to come work in my restaurant, get to learn how to make garden salad, can visit other ppl's restaurants.. haha

should i be sad or what?
