Graduated!!

there's still sth wrong with my blog cos i cant seem to change the font, cant upload pics. oh nvm lah. anyway yest was my convocation!! finally, 17 yrs of school.. year after year after year, just for this day. the ceremony was boring, talked to hana all the while.. laughing at ppl, some got 10 seconds of fame.. all the nonsense lah. if i had the chance, i cfm request for 30 mins of fame. HAHAHA.
do a turn, then sashay, then a 3 and a half turn, then jump in the air, land, and finally do a split.. WOOOO, the audience cheers for me :)

a passing phase?

i am so tired.. i think i am suffering from insomnia. for wks le lah.. i will not slp until it's 2am, then wake up at 10am.. yes it's full 8 hrs, but it's very unhealthy.. even if i make myself very tired in the day by swimming, i still cant get to slp at night. what's happening?

today the priest said sth: "life has taken a toll on our plans........ ppl change, attitudes change..... things do not go our way....."

it hit me real hard. it was like directed at me can.

i had to fight back my tears..

i want everything to go as planned man. i hope he does answer my prayers ah, cos u know every min around the world, got so many ppl praying.. i bet God is SUPER busy lah. HAHA

i think maybe he has other plans for me bah. we'll see huh.

and i want to thank my parents for not forcing me to go look for a job, even though i know they have been helping me ask around..

pigu was telling me abt how nice jay chou's songs are, and i couldnt agree more.. he is my sec sch idol, whenever his album comes out, i WILL buy de. and i rem his album is once a year kind. now that i am listening to all his songs, there's one particular one that caught me, and that's 星晴. it's in his 1st album.. i remember i kept listening to it on my walkman, non-stop.. can even memorise the lyrics better than when i had to do my chinese hmwk. HAHAHA

hai.. everyone has found a job. jialat lah.. dunno what's wrong with me, or is it my resume? i really dunno.. i so long nv go interview already, think i am becoming rusty soon. when i have learnt how to tackle interview qns, no interviews for me.. i was so desperate that i even apply to be an ICA specialist.. u know those at checkpoints de. wah biang asked for my height n weight, i think i too short, sure fail.. and i really dont like to talk abt it cos i think it's so disheartening. say le sibei sian.. but i do feel the pressure lah. so hope some company just give me a CHANCE. i need it badly..

oh ya.. i want to thank ps for her present!! it was a surprise lah.. haha i love it alot. THANKS DARLING!

looking forward to my langkawi trip now.. my only motivation to live on.

I have written an abstract out of your FYP report and submitted it for presentation at the said conference (1st Regional Conference on Biotechnology). The abstract has been accepted for oral presentation. Now a full paper needs to be submitted by 15 July. Do you think you can work on this? The paper is co-authored by you and me (three persons). The attached is the accepted abstract. I hope you can work on this following the attached paper format and look forward to hearing from you soon.

WOW! Mouse, our efforts were not wasted! when i saw chang's email, i was shocked, why would he email me, thot just wanna ask how are we now. Thinking back, mouse and i were still deciding on which topic to do.. every week go national library research, want to do sth that is current yet interesting, the 23746756 hours of typing in front of the computer, the niaming we got from chang etc.. everything was definitely worth it.. and we can be co-authors together with chang leh!

hanwen gave me a little miss sunshine, butt i had to earn that, beg n beg until i got it.. another toy to my overcrowding bed. but i am happy

and i am going on a langkawi trip from 27 to 29th june!! nth special abt the place, but u know, just a little getaway for both of us. once a yr thing ah.. it's the company that matters to me u know.

and i have also signed up for this one day LA salsa dance thing at esplanade on 23 aug. so happy that i can finally go for a formal salsa thing. it has always been my wish..

FINALLY!!

omg after dragging for so long, i have finally signed up for voluntary work.

YEAH! and i feeling so happy abt it :)

i think my close friends know i have always been talking abt volunteering, but i just cant find the time when i was back in school, and just plain lazy to go do it. BUT TODAY, i have finally moved my ass and signed up with S'pore Children's Society, and am going to call MCYS tml to enquire.

in case anyone gets the wrong idea, i am not doing this because i wanna 积福 for my next generation, it's because i feel compared to other ppl, i am MUCH MORE fortunate.. and i really think kids shouldnt be deprived of a childhood. i am not new to this cos i have been to tanjong pinang for a day to volunteer, helped organised a christmas party for the underprivileged..

it's the smile i get from the kids that makes me very very happy.

yup, cos i am uncertain of my job n all, so i can only volunteer on weekends, whoever is interested can join me ya..

i have nv seen vone jumped so high before!

yes u heard me right.. i want to blog abt our (limei, junmin, vone n me) trip to sungei buloh to see sunset cos we received a little surprise. after capturing the beautiful sun n us, we head back toward the entrance. just then, we heard sth beside us in the bushes THIS!!!! a komodo dragon, limei believed, has the freaking size of a crocodile and was like less than a metre beside us! so very naturally, we screamed n ran away, then vone jumped super high into the air n landed 5 metres away.

like long jump. HAHAHAHHA. ok lah best friend i dont laugh anymore.

then the security uncle came running to us cos i screamed damn loud, ask: what happened? what happened?

after we calmed down, he jokingly said aiya it is his pet.. that dragon will come out for a walk at times. when it is not hungry, it will just smell the uncle's feet. in my heart: what if it thot that day served buffet and still want more?i didnt know they can stand up de.. AHHHHHHH so er xin

what if that day we looked like slim cheese hotdogs to it? jitao will die.

luckily we had a nice dinner after that, so all was quickly forgotten..

i think the most fun place is my home..

outside is no fun at all

so many ppl, esp young ppl everywhere.

and i am starting to really not like crowds.

that's why last sat's trip to sungei buloh was near to being heavenly

only 4 of us and some random ppl..

is this a sign of ageing?

i am just contented to know that i was once young and happening :)
