i met up with 2 of my fav girls for lunch on mon. we went bugis to collect janice's euro pass cos she is flying to faraway europe for her grad trip for 2 mths.. then we saw this damn cute queue no. ticket machine

then we went over to marina sq for lunch, we ate at Hotpot Culture, it's beside Thai Express. we had the ala-carte buffet which cost about $23 per person. the food is not bad, and it includes free flow of fondue (pure happiness), so can give it a try. we reached the place at 3pm, but there werent any customers, so we just walked in lor.. then the waitress came and told us: erm the buffet starts at 3.15pm... at that time we were very very very hungry already, but bo bian, so we went in to sit down n bio the food first.

i asked jan whether they have beef here, and she drew me this

so we waited until 3.15, after ordering the broth, we cheong to the buffet table to grab many many food. they had 5 types of broth: chicken, fish, tom yum, herbal and last one forgot what. we ordered the chicken, tom yum and herbal. ya very nice, but i think they put alot of MSG.

this is only like 1/3 of what we ate.. cos when the rest of the food all came i had no time to take pics.. 2 tables full of food, very scary

so we ate and talked and laughed as usual.. after eating halfway, we felt like having a change, so we ordered the fondue, leaving the rest of the food for later.. and halfway thru the fondue, janice asked me

jan: eh sarah, why u nv eat ur dumplings?

me: but i didnt take them

jan: but u asked me to take, u were standing beside me and said they look nice, so i took it

me: -.-

jan: really, i heard u saying u wanted them

me: i swear i didnt, must be some girl who wore the same top as me talking to u

jan: no, cfm it's u

me: ok nvm, since u took them let's eat it

so we cooked the dumplings, then dipped into the fondue.. hahahahahhaahhaha

ps: eh sarah, inside the pot still got hotdogs, u nv eat

me: but not i take one leh

ps: u asked me to take it, i heard u say u wanted

ps: sarah are u dreaming or what, first u asked jan to get the dumplings then me to get the hotdogs

me: but i didnt mah.... i dont rem saying those things

and we laughed non stop. but i really didnt ask them to take... cos ps say dont take those normal stuff like hotdogs, crabsticks, and i am not a big fan of dumplings, if got i dont mind, but i wont take lor.. i think they both gang up to play me. TSK. so nvm, i just ate all those food that i DIDNT ask for.. jan KO-ed quite early, left ps and me eating n eating.. oh the strawberry ice cream was nice!!! i had like 3 scoops of that

me: eh watermelon dipped in fondue not very nice

jan: ok

but she went to take for ps... when she came back with the watermelon, i ate like most of it

ps: i thot u say u dont want

me: eh i say dip in choco not nice, nv say i wont eat like that

and we laughed non stop again... after eating, ps and me brought cameras, so......

we ate from 3 plus to around 5. then after bumming ard, i came home to eat dinner... hahaha after having lunch buffet i still had stomach for dinner... better gym tml

i always have so much fun meeting these 2 girls.. but we always cant find time to meet up cos everyone is busy, so today no matter what i told myself must cancel all other appointments to meet them.. jan is flying soon, ps is doing her special sem now till end june, after which in july she will start her career as a Singapore Girl... air stewardess leh. ps see u on the plane in future. haha =)
